A base spirit, a liqueur, something sour and something sweet will make most classics. Start with three-ingredient classics. A Margarita is tequila, Vok Triple Sec and lime. A Daiquiri is white rum, lime and sugar syrup. A Negroni is equal parts gin, sweet vermouth and bitter aperitif, stirred over ice. An Espresso Martini is vodka, Vok Coffee liqueur and fresh espresso, shaken hard. None require special equipment beyond a shaker and ice.

The Fruit Tingle is an Australian favourite and one of the most-searched cocktails in the country. Build it in a tall glass over ice: vodka, Vok Blue Curaçao and a splash of raspberry cordial, topped with lemonade. The raspberry sinks and the blue curaçao sits above it, giving the drink its distinctive layered look. Garnish with a lemon wheel and enjoy the nostalgia.

For a frozen version, blend white rum, Vok Strawberry Liqueur, fresh or frozen strawberries, lime juice and sugar syrup with a cup of ice until smooth. For a shaken (not frozen) daiquiri, shake the same ingredients hard with ice and strain into a chilled coupe. Bickford's Strawberry & Lime Crush cordial is a good shortcut if you're making a batch.
