Sippify stocks Bickford's coffee and flavouring syrups — Iced Coffee, Iced Caramel Coffee, Iced Mocha, French Vanilla, Aromatic Cinnamon, Salted Caramel and Roasted Hazelnut in 500ml — plus Bickford's Blackcurrant Fruit Juice Syrup and Cawsey's Grenadine and Sugar Syrup in 750ml for cocktails.

Sugar syrup — also called simple syrup — dissolves instantly into cold drinks where granulated sugar won't, which is why every bar keeps a bottle. It balances sourness and adds body to sours, Mojitos, Daiquiris and Margaritas. Cawsey's Sugar Syrup is formulated specifically for cocktails and works equally well in mocktails, iced tea and homemade lemonade.

Grenadine is the classic red cocktail syrup, providing both sweetness and colour. Cawsey's Grenadine is non-alcoholic and is the essential ingredient in a Tequila Sunrise, Shirley Temple, Singapore Sling and Rum Runner. A small splash also turns a plain lemonade into something that looks like it came from a bar.

Beyond coffee, flavoured syrups are one of the most versatile things in the pantry. Add them to milkshakes and smoothies, drizzle them over ice cream and pancakes, stir them into hot chocolate, use them in baking, or add a measure to a cocktail — Salted Caramel with bourbon, Cinnamon with rum, Hazelnut with coffee liqueur.
