Frequently Asked Questions

What tequila does Sippify sell?

Sippify stocks the El Toro range: Tequila Blanco (Clásico) and Jalapeno at 38%, Limón y Sal, Coconut and Grano de Café coffee tequila at 35%, plus 50ml minis, the Pocket Paloma and Emergency Margarita kits, and 4.5% RTD cans in Lime Margarita, Mango Margarita, Grapefruit Paloma and Lime Ranch Water.

How is tequila made?

El Toro's agave grows for six to seven years in the volcanic soils around Tequila, Jalisco, before skilled jimadors harvest each heart — which resembles a giant pineapple — using a traditional coa. The hearts are slow-cooked in masonry ovens to concentrate their sugars into a honey called mosto, fermented with natural yeasts over 48 to 72 hours, then double-distilled to produce clean, high-quality tequila.

How do you make a margarita at home?

The classic ratio is two parts tequila, one part orange liqueur and one part fresh lime juice, shaken hard with ice and strained into a salt-rimmed glass. Sippify stocks both components — El Toro Tequila Blanco and Vok Triple Sec — plus Cawsey's sugar syrup if you like it a touch sweeter. If you'd rather skip the shaker, the El Toro Lime Margarita cans and Vok Margarita casks are ready to pour.

What is the difference between blanco tequila and flavoured tequila?

Blanco (or Clásico) is unaged tequila that showcases pure agave character — bold and vibrant with vegetal grass, herbaceous notes, citrus, black pepper and natural agave sweetness. Flavoured expressions take that same base and infuse it: Jalapeno adds gentle green heat, Limón y Sal brings citrus and salt, Coconut brings creamy tropical richness, and Grano de Café adds roasted Arabica coffee.

Can I get tequila delivered in Australia?

Yes. Sippify delivers Australia-wide (excluding NT and some remote areas), usually dispatching within 1–2 business days. The 50ml minis are a good way to try several expressions before committing to a full bottle.
