Australia's spirits scene has earned serious international recognition. 23rd Street Signature Gin has taken Double Gold at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition, Beenleigh was named Australian Rum Distillery of the Year at the 2023 New York International Spirits Competition, and Black Bottle brandy has collected Gold at the Brandy Masters and Double Gold at the SIP Awards. All three are made by South Australian and Queensland distilleries and are available here.

It depends on strength and size. A 700ml bottle at 40% ABV contains approximately 22 Australian standard drinks; at 37% it's around 20.5. An Australian standard drink contains 10g of pure alcohol. A 30ml nip of 40% spirit is a little under one standard drink. Every product page on Sippify lists the exact ABV and standard drink count for that bottle. Please enjoy responsibly.

Most distilled spirits are considered gluten free because the distillation process separates out gluten proteins, and spirits distilled from sugarcane, grapes, agave or potatoes contain no gluten grains at all. Many of the spirits Sippify stocks carry an explicit gluten-free callout on their product page. If you have coeliac disease, we recommend contacting the producer directly, as manufacturing environments can vary.
