23rd Street Distillery Matthew & Jim's Classic Ouzo

Ouzo: you either love it, or you just don't love it yet. Our Master Distiller has crafted this punchy, fresh and layered nectar with whole seeds of dill, aniseed, caraway, star anise and fennel. Sip and savour with full-flavoured appetisers like chargrilled seafood and saganaki.

Whole star anise plus whole seeds of dill, caraway and fennel are steeped first in pure water for 24-48 hours. Then we add our signature Queensland cane sugar base liquor and soak another 24 hours. Slowly and thoroughly, this method extracts the full spectrum of flavours. The liquid is copper pot distilled, then sweetened with just a touch of cane sugar before filtering to crystal clarity.

23rd Street Distillery Matthew & Jim's Classic Ouzo is 37% ABV (alcohol by volume). Each 700mL bottle contains approximately 20.4 standard drinks, based on the Australian standard drink measure of 10g of pure alcohol. Please enjoy responsibly.
