Adelaide Hills Our Pinot Noir is sourced from high-altitude Adelaide Hills vineyards in Kuitpo and Aldgate, benefits from cool breezes and misty mornings that promote slow ripening and flavour development. Burst with fresh red fruits and delicate oak spice, it is a quintessential expression of cool-climate Pinot Noir.
Colour: Medium ruby
Bouquet: A fragrant nose with lifted aromas of wild strawberries, red cherries, and raspberry compote. Subtle floral notes of rose petals and dried lavender, with hints of forest floor, crushed herbs, and a touch of spice from seasoned French oak.
Palate: Elegant and finely structured, the palate delivers bright red fruit flavours of cranberry, pomegranate, and sour cherry, supported by a lively natural acidity. A long, graceful finish lingers with notes of dried herbs and mineral freshness, showcasing the cool-climate purity of this Adelaide Hills Pinot Noir.
Vintage Conditions: The 2024 growing season in the Adelaide Hills began with cool and wet conditions, leading to above-average rainfall until the end of January. This was followed by a very warm and dry February, which accelerated ripening. The combination of these factors resulted in minute crops of Pinot Noir, harvested earlier than usual with very good acidity and expressive flavours. Despite these challenges, the quality of the wines has been consistently high, showcasing the resilience of Adelaide Hills vineyards. Yields were generally slightly lower than average but were offset by the exceptional quality of both white and red varietals, indicating a promising vintage.
Winemaking
Sourced from select vineyard sites in Kuitpo and Aldgate, this Pinot Noir showcases the unique terroirs of the Adelaide Hills. The fruit was carefully handpicked from three premium sites: Verdure Estate, Yacca Paddock and Highwood Vineyard Aldgate. These vineyards, ranging in elevation from 350m to 430m, benefit from cool afternoon breezes and misty mornings, ensuring a long, even ripening period that enhances aromatic complexity.
A delicate approach in the winery allowed the purity of fruit to shine. 8% whole bunch, with fermentation temperatures maintained between 20–26°C. Six days of maceration gave gently extracting colour and tannin while preserving vibrancy. Maturation took place in seasoned French oak (4 to 7 years old) in large format barrels (500L, 600L, and 860L) for six months.

We deliver drinks to your doorstep, Australia wide! Both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. You must be over 18 years of age to purchase alcohol including wine, beer, cider, spirits, and RTDs. This service is currently ONLY available for delivery in Australia.
Freight Charges: from $9.50 Metro CBD shipping, $9.50 Metro shipping, $12 Regional shipping, and $15 Remote shipping.
Parcels will be charged based on weight at the discretion of sender
Delivery Provider: We use both Australia Post and Border Express as couriers. The delivery provider will be selected at our discretion. In some instances we may use a local contract courier in certain Adelaide METRO areas.
Timing of delivery: Orders placed prior to 6:00am (ADL time) Monday to Friday will be processed within 2 business days. You will receive a dispatch confirmation email with the tracking number once your order has hit the road. We endeavour to deliver products to Australian METRO areas within 3-8 working days, for REGIONAL areas 7-10 working days and for COUNTRY areas please allow at least 14 working days. Please note these are approximate transit times as per Australia Post schedule and can take longer at times.
We do not guarantee any specific delivery date or time but please expect delivery Monday to Saturday 8.00 am to 6.00 pm. Our courier cannot telephone/text prior to delivery.
If you are not home at the time of delivery:
- Australia Post will leave your parcel at the nearest post office with a card for you to pick up at your convenience unless otherwise specified during checkout (*Alcoholic products will not be left at the address if unattended). You will have 10 business days to collect your items, after which it will be returned to our warehouse, cost to re-ship will be the responsibility of the customer.
- Border Express - Non-alcoholic products to a residential address that has provided an Authority to Leave will be left unattended as per the instructions unless the drivers deems it an unsafe place to leave.
- For deliveries in Adelaide metro using a local contract courier, non-alcoholic products will be left at the door if unattended unless otherwise specified during checkout (*Alcoholic products will not be left at the address if unattended)
Products not Delivered: For any products that are not delivered and are returned to us because (i) the stock is not collected by you, or (ii) you have provided incomplete delivery details, we will refund the price you paid for the products less the delivery fee. We also reserve the right to withhold a further fee of $11 per article as a Return to Sender surcharge to cover fees incurred in goods being returned to us.
